Jennifer Bebon is a media relations expert with more than 25 years of experience developing strategic public relations campaigns, new product launches, brand repositioning and social media campaigns for big brands, start-up e-commerce sites and century-old, family-owned businesses across a wide range of industries. After graduating with a B.A. in economics from the University of Richmond, including studies abroad at London School of Economics, she pursued a career in consumer product PR. Starting in the New York satellite office of a Boston-based PR agency, where she built an impressive portfolio of national magazine coverage for Reebok footwear, she then struck PR gold, landing a job at the #1 PR agency in the world, Hill and Knowlton, Inc. NY. A natural at media relations, Jennifer spent the next few years cultivating a lifestyle repertoire of such luxury brands as Christian Dior Fragrances and such iconic American brands as Coppertone Suncare Products, Revlon, Pendleton Woolen Mills, Procter & Gamble Hair Care and DuPont Cordura Nylon.
On starting a family, she launched MAX Communications based in Fairfield, CT. Musgo Real Shaving Products for men and Eddie Bauer were among her first clients. Since then, she’s worked on a number of exciting brands, including Garden Botanika Skincare, Tazo Tea Company, Pendleton Woolen Mills, Optima Prescription Eyeglass Lenses, American Home Products, Radio Shack, kid-e-sport.com, ShoeMall.com, Klaff’s home design emporiums, William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty, the DVD series “American Stock: The Golden Era of NASCAR”, Fair Indigo, Girlawhirl.com, Gault Energy and Stone, The LaurelRock Company, Blackrock Realty, Sonsi.com, The Bellevue Collection, Orchard Brands and Isabel Garretón, among others. At the height of the dot.com boom, Jennifer took a hiatus from Max Communications to go in-house with a client, Kid-e-Sport.com. There she created and launched C’Mon Mom!, the country’s first sports education program for mothers.
A resident of Fairfield, Conn. who loves art, garden design, cycling and her three dogs, Jennifer also maintains an apartment and office in Manhattan.
