November 23, 2012 marks the 5th anniversary of the National Day of Listening, a day to honor a loved one through listening. Sponsors NPR and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting tell us “It’s the least expensive but most meaningful gift you can give this holiday season.” The National Day of Listening puts all the tools at our finger tips to help us learn what our loved ones’ childhood was like, how did the war change them and when they first fell in love.
It’s an invitation to be curious, to point our iPhones, iPads or laptops to a greater good, and to make a loved one feel truly special.
What a wonderful way to say “thank you” this Thanksgiving day.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
